| 5th June Mixed Traffic Weekend | |||
| The North Norfolk's second Mixed Traffic Weekend featured a variety of steam and diesel traction. The highlight was Ian Story's recently overhauled Black 5 44767 George Stephenson, making a welcome return to the NNR 12 years after its first visit. Other highlights included NRM owned 'LEV1', which returned to traffic in April, and recently overhauled Class 101 DMU, which looked superb after being back dated to late 50s/early 60s condition. Other locos in action were drawn from the NNR's home fleet: LNER J15 65462 and N7 69621; BR Class 25 25035 and Class 31 31207. | |||

| 11th March Sheringham Level Crossing – The Opening | |||
| While the pictures here aren't strictly of the North Norfolk Railway they do help tell a bit of the story of Britannia 70013 Oliver Cromwell's journey to Sheringham to open the railway's new level crossing. It's been reported that around 5,000 people turned out to see the loco haul the first train over Station Road in 45 years. Congratulations to all involved with the project to rejoin the NNR with the national network, I'm sure this charter will be the first of many. | |||

| 7th March Sheringham Level Crossing – The Test Train | |||
| A historic day for the North Norfolk Railway as the line was reconnected to network rail in the small hours of Sunday morning. No time was wasted in testing the new crossing, and at approximately 12.40 DRS Class 37 37194 became the first rail traffic across Station Road in 40 years. Everything is now set for the big event on 11th March when 70013 Oliver Cromwell will haul The Broadsman over the new crossing declaring it officially open. | |||
